The Curatorial team at London Museum needs a capable, organised Operations Coordinator. You'll join the museum at an exciting moment, as we prepare to open our new museum site at Smithfield later this year. There's lots still to do to prepare for our move, and our department is a busy, lively environment.

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the department and our offices, as well as managing the diary of the head of department. Key responsibilities include the coordination of resources, budget reporting, and minuting, as well as managing the large number of enquiries that the department receives. 

You would organise meetings, compile research and acquisition files for curators, identify and prioritise Freedom of Information requests, and process unsolicited deposits of material from the public. 

Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have specific academic qualifications. We are looking for someone with good experience of working in a fast-paced environment, who is extremely organised and who possesses strong, demonstrable administrative skills.
