London Museum has an exciting opportunity for a Collection Care Conservator with a pragmatic approach to the care and management of collections.

We are in the middle of an exciting transformation, moving from London Wall to Smithfield. The Collections Care Conservator will play an important role in supporting this work through environmental monitoring and control across the new sites, managing risks associated with installation of collections and supporting emergency response planning, pest management and management of hazardous collections. The role also works on all preventive conservation disciplines across all the museum’s sites and stores.

This role would suit a collections care specialist who enjoys working across multiple projects and collection types. You will be a good team player and enjoy sharing ideas with others. You will have experience of collections care and preventive conservation within a heritage institution and be able to confidently and independently solve collections care problems.
