Engagement Coordinator (Administration and Volunteering)

The Engagement Coordinator (Administration and Volunteering) role is a brand new role for the museum and is a key member of the Engagement Team and the wider Programmes, Partnerships and Learning Division, working as part of a team of cross-site Coordinators to support the development and delivery of onsite, outreach and online activities.

 

The role focuses on the administrative aspects of the Engagement and Community Partnerships programme, and providing administrative support to the Assistant Director: Programmes, Partnerships and Learning.

 

This role will also include the day-to-day management of the Lived Experience Volunteer programme at London Museum Smithfield (including volunteer rotas, volunteer expenses and access fund, and training and wellbeing opportunities), working closely with colleagues from Engagement, HR and Visitor Experience teams.

 

Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have any academic qualifications. We are looking for someone who is highly organised and who has experience within team administration.
